Isco Alarcon is set to be sideline for around two months after undergoing a second surgery on his injury.

Isco fractured his tibia during a 2-2 draw at Las Palmas on May 17. He is working to get back on the pitch but has not improved in recent weeks. With doctors saying the area around the bone is not yet strong and has not bonded together.
Real Betis medical director Jose Manuel Alvarez said that injuries of this nature usually take up to six months to heal for an average person. But that athletes could expect much shorter recovery times.
In Isco’s case. Real Betis had two options: either wait until the six months have passed and see if he can recover on his own. Or send the 32-year-old midfielder to undergo another surgery and be out for another six to eight weeks. In the end, Betis chose the latter.
